Lemieux has been dealing with an illness this week and head coach David Quinn will decide after warmups whether or not Lemieux plays in New Jersey. Lemieux has no points, four PIMS and three shots in three games this season.

Lemieux was traded to the Rangers last season and finished the season with six points (3G / 3A) in 19 games with New York. Adding Kaapo Kakko, Artemi Panarin and potentially Vitali Kravtsov upfront this offseason is going to make it very difficult for Lemieux to crack the opening night lineup in 2020.

Lemieux was acquired from the Jets in the Kevin Hayes trade and will replace Filip Chytil in the lineup on Wednesday. Lemieux is a former No.31 overall pick in 2014 but has been limited by a deep roster in Winnipeg, scoring nine goals with two assists (11 points) in 44 games on their fourth line. He will start with Lias Andersson and Pavel Buchnevich.

Lemieux was a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Andrew Copp in the lineup on Tuesday. Lemieux has a disastrous 39.2 CorsiFor% and -11.4 CF%rel in 12 games this season. He has just one goal on seven shots while averaging just 5:44 TOI/gm.

Lemieux served his two game suspension but has served as a healthy scratch for the last five games. Tonight he replaces Andrew Copp, who is out with a concussion. Lemieux has no points, six shots and 27 PIMS in nine games this season.

Lemieux was given 17 penalty minutes and ejected on the hit and will miss Friday’s game vs. the Avalanche and Sunday’s game vs. the Devils as well. Jack Roslovic will likely replace him in the Jets’ lineup.

Lemieux had one goal in nine games with the Jets last season. The 22-year-old winger is expected to replace Kristian Vesalainen in the lineup and showcased his offensive upside with 19 goals and 24 assists (43 points) in 51 games with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) last year.

Lemieux, 21, has one goal in eight games with the Jets this season and he will likely be in their lineup on Tuesday with Brandon Tanev, Adam Lowry and Matt Hendricks all out. Lemieux has registered 28 points (12G / 16A) in 30 games in Manitoba this season.

Lemieux, 18, was a second-round pick (31st overall) of the Sabres in last summer’s draft. The son of former NHLer Claude Lemieux, Brendan is a gritty forward who can put the puck in the net. He has 35 goals and 15 assists (50 points) in 46 games with the Barrie Colts (OHL) this season.
