Brett Bellemore News

The Hurricanes have activated Brett Bellemore from IR.

Bellemore has missed the last seven games with a lower-body injury, but is available for tonight’s game in Tampa Bay. Despite his activation, it does not look like Bellemore will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Lightning. In order to make room for Bellemore, the Hurricanes have placed Alex Semin on IR.

Bellemore will not play Monday because of an upper-body injury.

Bellemore was not on the ice for the Hurricanes morning skate and head coach Bill Peters said that he is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Tim Gleason and John-Michael Liles are also nicked up, so the Hurricanes have recalled Michal Jordan from Charlotte (AHL).
