Ritchie will draw back into the Stars lineup on Saturday afternoon.

Ritchie has sat for the last two games, but will play today vs. the Oilers. Ritchie has had a slow start to the season, picking up one goal and one assist in 14 games this season, averaging 11:44 TOI/GM. There’s no word on who Ritchie will replace in the Stars lineup.

Ritchie will miss his seconds straight game with an upper-body injury that he suffered din Vancouver on Monday. The soonest that Ritchie can return is Monday vs. the Jets. The power forward has not performed as the Stars had hoped he would, collecting just two points (1G / 1A) in 12 games this season.

Ritchie, who has recorded just one goal and one assist in 12 games so far this season, will miss tonight’s contest in Winnipeg which leaves him as questionable at best for Saturday’s home game vs. the Sabres.

Ritchie underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ligament in his wrist. Ritchie was expected to battle for a spot on the Stars opening day roster, but his injury creates an opening for another young winger to crack the roster.

Ritchie, 21, has posted nine points (6G / 3A) in 31 NHL games with Dallas this season. He scored his first career NHL goal in his first career NHL game on his first shot on Dec. 31, 2014 vs. the Arizona Coyotes. In 25 games with Texas in 2014-15, he has posted 18 points (11G / 7A) and a +10 plus/minus rating.

Ritchie, 21, has three goals and one assist in 10 games with the Stars this season. In 24 games with Texas he has 11 goals and seven assists (18 points) in 24 games. With Patrick Eaves and Tyler Seguin on IR, he will likely be in the lineup tonight.

Ritchie, 21, who has 18 points (11G / 7A) in 23 games with Texas, has registered three goals and one assist in eight games with the Stars this season. Before being sent down three days ago, Ritchie was on IR with an undisclosed injury. Expect him back in the lineup tonight vs. Tampa Bay.

Ritchie will miss his third straight game on Tuesday, but head coach Lindy Ruff expects to have Ritchie back in the lineup when the Stars resume play next Tuesday in Montreal. Ritchie has recorded three goals and one assist in eight games with the Stars.

Ritchie suffered an undisclosed injury in Thursday’s loss to Winnipeg. The 21-year-old had registered three goals, one assist and 21 shots in eight games during his recall. He will miss at least the next three games, but could return after the All Star break.
