Jarnkrok was a late scratch from Game 2 due to a non-COVID illness but will play in Game 3 in Nashville. Jarnkork is expected to replace Brad Richardson in the lineup.



Jarnkrok has been out since the third game of the season but head coach John Hynes said that he "looked good" in practice on Wednesday and he "anticipates" he'll play on Thursday. The Predators placed Brad Richardson on IR on Wednesday, clearing the way for Jarnkrok to be activated.


Jarnkrok has missed the last five games with an illness but will play tonight in Vancouver. Jarnkrok has often been featured in the Predators top-6 this season but will make his return on the fourth-line with Colton Sissons and Austin Watson.

Jarnkrok missed Tuesday's practice and is questionable for play on Wednesday. Consider Jarnkrok a game-time decision and look for Yakov Trenin to remain in the lineup if Jarnkrok can't play.

Jarnkrok has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but will play tonight in Arizona. Jarnkrok will skate with Kyle Turris and Craig Smith, but has just three goals and two assists in 15 games this season.




Jarnkrok came out of the Predators lineup on Saturday, but will draw back in for Scott Hartnell on Tuesday. Jarnkrok has picked up 16 goals and 19 assists (35 points) in 67 games this season.



Jarnkrok, 24, appeared in 74 games with the Predators in 2015-16, scoring 16 goals with 14 assists (30 points). The young Swede has 57 points (25G / 32A) in 167 career NHL games and will likely start the 2016-17 season on the third line, but could work his way into the Predators’ top-6 as the season progresses.

Jarnkrok missed Saturday’s game and Sunday’s practice, but he was back at practice this morning, which suggests that he could be back in the lineup on Wednesday in San Jose. Jarnkrok has just one assist in seven games this season.

Jarnkrok is battling an illness and is questionable for the season finale on Saturday. An illness might force him out of just one game, but he should be ready for the playoffs.

Jarnkrok has yet to record a point while piling up 11 shots and two PIMs in eight games this season. He will take a seat tonight with Gabriel Bourque and Matt Cullen entering the lineup. He has not been all that bad for the Predaotrs this season, but they want more offence from the 23-year-old.

Jarnkrok, who was acquired from the Red Wings at the trade deadline in a deal that sent veteran David Legwand to Detroit, is expected to make his NHL debut on Friday. Jarnkrok's recall was prompted by an upper-body injury to Paul Gaustad. Jarnkrok earned the recall after scoring five goals with two assists (seven points) in his first five games with Milwaukee. He is expected to centre Gabriel Bourque and Craig Smith.
