Price will start Wednesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Price allowed three goals on 22 shots in Montreal's surprising loss to the Senators last Thursday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Price, who is 2-1-0 with a 2.35 GAA and .908 SV% on home ice this season. Tonight, the Maple Leafs are in town and they've won seven of their last eight (7-0-1) while scoring 4.13 goals per game and giving up just 2.38.

Jake Allen gave him the night off on Saturday, so it's no surprise that Price will start the front-end of Montreal's back-to-back on Monday. The Habs have been one of the most impressive teams in the NHL so far and Price comes in having won two straight while stopping 46 of the last 50 shots (.920 SV%) that he's faced.

Price allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Canadiens' win in Vancouver last Saturday. With four days off between games, it's no surprise that Price will start for the second straight game. He's alternated good and bad outings to start the season, posting a 3.14 GAA and .893 SV% in his first four outings. Tonight he'll face a Flames team that is coming off of back-to-back losses to the Maple Leafs and are 2-2-1 through five games.

Charlie Lindgren gave him the night off on Saturday, so Price comes into Tuesday's meeting with the Predators well-rested. Price has lost three of his last four starts (1-2-1) with a 3.49 GAA and .876 SV%. Tonight he faces a Nashville team that is 5-3-0 while scoring 2.50 goals per game in their last eight games.
