Hutton will start Sunday in Chicago.

Hutton allowed five goals on 29 shots in the Sabres loss to the Hurricanes on Thursday. Hutton has lost five consecutive starts while posting an ugly 3.80 GAA and .880 SV%. He really hasn't played well and isn't a good option against a Blackhawks team that has four 4-0-1 while averaging a ridiculous 4.80 goals per game in their last five.

Hutton starts Saturday's Global Series game vs. the Lightning.

Hutton allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Sabres loss to the Islanders last Saturday. Hutton has lost three straight but has actually played really well as of late, stopping 62 of the last 65 shots (.954 SV%) that he has faced. Even with Curtis McElhinney in the other net, Hutton is a risky option against a Lightning team that outshot the Sabres 34-to-22 yesterday.

Hutton will start Monday vs. the Coyotes.

Hutton gave up six goals on 24 shots in the Sabres 6-2 loss to the Rangers last Thursday. The loss snapped an impressive six-game winning streak to start the season and even with the rough outing, Hutton still ranks ninth in GAA (2.27) and t-14th in SV% (.920). He could be in-tough on Monday night though. Arizona comes into play having won five of their last six while averaging 4.00 goals per game.

Hutton is expected to start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Hutton stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Sabres shutout win over the Stars on Monday. After a disappointing 2018-19 campaign, Hutton is tied for the league-lead in wins (4), seventh in GAA (1.74) and tied for 10th in SV% (.931) through four starts this year. He’s playing well and the Ducks are 28th in the NHL in scoring (2.17 GF/pg) so Hutton is a solid option on Wednesday.

Hutton will start Saturday vs. the Devils.

Hutton made 28 saves on 29 shots in the Sabres 3-1 win over the Penguins on opening night. Hutton quieted the doubters by passing his first test of the season and his second start comes against a Devils team that blew a four-goal lead last night. He is 14-9-2 in his last 25 starts in Buffalo, so he’s a decent option vs. an up-and-coming New Jersey squad.
