However, they did beat the Sabres in a shootout last Thursday and are coming off of a 3-1 win over the Bruins.

The high from winning his first game in months did not last long and now he's tasked with starting in New York, where the Rangers are 7-3-0 while averaging 4.20 goals per game in their last 10 home games.

Hutton allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Sabres loss to the Canadiens on Thursday. He is still searching for his first win since October 22nd but it was a solid outing for the veteran. This afternoon he faces a Columbus team that has won six in a row while outscoring their opponents 20-to-6.

Linus Ullmark has started four of the last five games but Hutton will start the front-end of the Sabres' back-to-back on Saturday afternoon. Hutton still hasn't won since October 22nd, going 0-5-3 with a 3.75 GAA and .883 SV% in his last eight starts.

Hutton surrendered five goals on 29 shots in the Sabres loss in Tampa Bay on Monday. Hutton is on a seven-game personal losing streak, going 0-5-2 with a hideous 4.02 GAA and .869 SV%. He will look to record a win for the first time since October 22nd when he faces the Maple Leafs on Saturday, but the matchup is far from ideal.

Hutton allowed five goals on 29 shots in the Sabres loss to the Hurricanes on Thursday. Hutton has lost five consecutive starts while posting an ugly 3.80 GAA and .880 SV%. He really hasn't played well and isn't a good option against a Blackhawks team that has four 4-0-1 while averaging a ridiculous 4.80 goals per game in their last five.
