DeSmith will likely get his first start of the season as the undefeated Penguins head to Montreal to take on the Canadiens on the road. He will hope the Penguin's offence can continue to roll as it has posted six goals in both of their two wins to start the season.

DeSmith left Game 1 with an injury and underwent surgery on Friday morning that will end his season. With Tristan Jarry still battling an injury of his own, it's Louis Domingue's crease moving forward.

DeSmith left Game 1 after suffering a lower-body injury in overtime. Louis Domingue, who was perfect in relief in the 3OT win, will start Game 2 and Alex D'Orio was recalled from the AHL to serve as his backup.
