With their other two goalies dealing with injury, Johnson will make his third straight appearance tonight in Nashville. Johnson has played well recently, winning four of his last five starts while stopping 145 of the 157 shots (.924 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he faces a Coyotes team that they share the bottom of the league with—but Arizona has won 11 of their last 17 (11-5-1).

One of those wins came against the Lightning, who he’ll face again tonight—he stopped 26 of 29 shots in a 5-3 win on February 13th.

In 11 appearances this season, Johnson has gone 1-6-3 with a 3.68 GAA and .884 SV%, making him an extremely risky option against a talented Jets team on no rest.
