#NYR Mashinter has been sent down. He will play for CT vs. Albany tonight. Guessing that means Kreider is good to go.
Mashinter who was just called up, was sent down right away. No official word on whether or not Kreider will play tonight but all signs are pointing to him being in the lineup. Monitor his status before game-time.
Chris Kreider (ankle/bone chips) also sounds doubtful for tomorrow vs. Devils. Says it's not a matter of the pain but the mobility.
Kreider was originally considered day-to-day but has not played since January 23. Kreider could still see top-6 minutes when he returns but when that will be is still uncertain.

Line Change
Last night, he spent much of the second and third periods on the bench, with Taylor Pyatt taking his place on a line with Ryan Callahan and Derek Stepan, something John Tortorella didn't hold back on discussing.
Kreider haas been scratched tonight, and is in danger of being sent to the AHL. Probably not worth holding on to at this point, but Pyatt isn't much of an option either

After getting rocked against Philadelphia and having to leave the game, Kreider is on the ice in practice today and isn't expected to miss any time.
