The Canadiens have recalled Christian Folin from Laval (AHL).
Folin has no points in seven games with Laval since going down. The 28-year-old had one assist in five games with Montreal before being sent down.
Folin will be back in the Canadiens lineup on Saturday.
Folin was a healthy scratch on Thursday but will replace Cale Fleury (undisclosed) in the lineup on Saturday. Folin has just one assist while averaging 15:02 TOI/gm in four games this season.

Folin was a healthy scratch for the last two games, but he will replace Nate Prosser in the lineup on Thursday. Folin is a big, rugged defenseman who has posted two goals and five assists (seven points) in 45 games this season.
Folin (upper-body) will not play Tuesday vs. St. Louis.
Folin left Sunday’s game vs. the Sharks and will miss tonight’s game vs. St. Louis and is expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks. With Folin out, Nate Prosser is expected to be back on the blueline.
