Geekie will slot in for Nick Paul, who is a late scratch due to an undisclosed injury. It's the first appearance for Geekie since the opening game of the series, where he registered two penalty minutes and zero points in just over eight minutes of ice time.

Scott Sabourin will draw into Tampa Bay's lineup for Game Two on Tuesday, sending Geekie to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 21-year-old Geekie played 8:12 time-on-ice and recorded two penalty minutes in Game One. He had three points (1G / 2A) in 14 games this season.

Geekie appeared in three of Tampa Bay's previous four games but is the odd-man out of the roster after he was reassigned to Syracuse (AHL) on Wednesday. The 21-year-old forward closes out his sophomore campaign in Tampa Bay with a goal, three points and eight PIMs in 14 games played.

Geekie was scratched on Thursday as the Lighting went with 11 forwards and seven defensemen. But with Darren Raddysh injured on Saturday, Geekie will suit back up as the 12th forward. Geekie enters the game with two assists in 12 NHL games this season.

Geekie scored two assists in 11 games this season with Tampa Bay, but has spent most of the 2025-26 campaign in the AHL. The 21-year-old 11th-overall pick from the 2022 NHL Entry Draft has 59 points (17G / 42A) this season in 56 games with the Syracuse Crunch (AHL).

Geekie left the Lightning's bench on Wednesday during their preseason game on a legal line change for the purpose of starting an altercation after his dust-up with Florida's Josh Davies and has been suspended for one game by the NHL Player Safety Department. The 20-year-old forward is battling for one of Tampa Bay's final roster spots after being acquired during the offseason in the deal which saw Mikhail Sergachev end up in Utah.

Geekie was dealt from Utah before ever playing a game for the franchise as he was moved alongside JJ Moser, a 2024 2nd Round Pick and a 2024 7th Round Pick to Tampa Bay for Mikhail Sergachev. Geekie was drafted in the 1st round (11th overall) of the 2022 draft by Arizona and had 43 goals and 99 points in 55 regular season games with both Swift Current (WHL) and Wenatchee (WHL) in 2023-24. He is expected to compete for a roster spot in Tampa Bay for the upcoming season.
