Tonight he makes his second start vs. the Predators, he made 19 saves in a 2-1 win in Chicago in October.

Crawford will miss his sixth and seventh straight game this weekend, but should be back next week. They have the Wild on Tuesday, but after that they are off until Saturday vs. the Blue Jackets. Monitor his status next week.

Crawford’s injury was announced on Tuesday, but he confirmed this afternoon that he will miss 2-3 weeks with a lower-body injury that he suffered off-ice. With Crawford out, Antti Raanta presumably becomes the starter, unless he is outplayed by Scott Darling again. Crawford will be back in mid-to-late December.

Crawford did not skate this morning because of a lower-body injury. The ailment will keep him out of the crease tomorrow, which means Antti Raanta will get the call. Crawford will be evaluated today and a more detailed injury report should be released in the next 24 hours.

He was spotted a 2-0 lead less than five minutes in a coasted to a win. It will be a much more difficult night tonight in Vancouver.

Raanta was scheduled to start his first game in nearly one month, but did not end up starting because he was "not feeling well". Crawford has gone 5-4-0 with a 2.11 GAA and .925 SV% in the month of November. If you accidentally left him in your lineup, you’re lucky because he draws a beauty of a matchup vs. the Oilers.

Since returning to the Hawks’ crease just over a week ago, Crawford has posted a losing record (2-3-0), despite registering a 1.83 GAA and .936 SV%. Uncharacteristically Chicago has struggled to score goals through the first month but don’t let that deter you from starting Crawford.
