McElhinney will start Thursday in Minnesota.

McElhinney gave up two goals on 19 shots in the Lightning's 3-1 loss in New Jersey on Sunday. It was a rare night where holding the opposition to two goals wasn't good enough for a Lightning netminder and moved McElhinney to 3-3-1 with a 3.17 GAA and .906 SV%. The Wild offence has been solid as of late, so he'll probably give up a couple of goals but should reward his owners with a 'W' tonight.
