#CBJ now has four goaltenders in Columbus. Curtis Sanford (groin) returned to the ice after main practice ended today.
If Sanford can return before Mark Dekanich, he very well could get another start. Otherwise, expect a demotion to the AHL.
Sanford is expected to miss two to four weeks
Sanford holds a significantly small amount of fantasy hockey value considering he probably is demoted to the AHL once healthy.
Strange news on G Curtis Sanford. He went through entire practice today and looked fine, was one of the last players off the ice.
No word on the extent of his injury other than he will not play tomorrow night.

-- Look for Sanford to get lots of action now the rest of training camp. With Dekanich out for an undetermined length, the Blue Jackets will need to decide if Sanford is a guy they can trust to be Mason's back-up.
Sanford should see a few games before Mark Dekanich returns but no reason to invest in the journeyman goaler. Last season he played 40 games for the Hamilton Bulldogs, posting a 1.93 GAA and .930 SV%. He could be relatively reliable if called upon.
They also signed NHL journeyman Curtis Sanford to a two-way deal. Sanford likely will be the main goalie in Springfield, while the 25-year-old Dekanich gets his first shot at being an NHL backup.
