Kuemer was banged up in a collision with Mattias Janmark on Monday and will not be available for Tuesday’s game. Adin Hill was recalled to backup Calvin Pickard.

He will look to stay hot against the Sharks, who he beat back in December, stopping 35 of the 38 shots he faced in a shootout victory.

As well as he played on the weekend, Kuemper is 3-6-1 with a 3.10 GAA and .902 SV% on the road this season and should remain on your bench or the waiver wire tonight.
Kuemper allowed five goals on 37 shots in the Coyotes loss to the Golden Knights last Sunday. Kuemper finished December with just one win in seven games while posting a 3.18 GAA and .900 SV%. Despite a solid matchup vs. a banged up Devils team that is 4-13-3 on the road this season, Keumper remains a desperate option.

Kuemper has dropped all three of his games since returning to the Coyotes crease, allowing a combined 10 goals on 91 shots (.890 SV%). Kuemper has had his moments this season but has been sub-par on most nights and is a risky option even against a Canadiens team on the tail-end of a back-to-back.
