Demelo hasn't played since Nov.13th vs. Seattle due to an upper-body injury and is not expected to return to the lineup Monday, but is hopeful he can return during their current road trip. The Jets have signed Dylan DeMelo to a four-year deal worth $12.0 million ($3.0M AAV).

DeMelo was set to become a UFA on Friday but the Jets have locked him up through the 2024 season at $3.0M. This is a fair price for a defenseman, who is a pretty good offensive play driver who is also rock solid in his own end. DeMelo had 10 assists, 105 hits and 77 blocked shots in 59 games between the Senators and Jets last season.

DeMelo (finger) will return to the Senators lineup on Tuesday.

DeMelo missed the last 10 games with a broken finger but will be back on the top pair with Thomas Chabot in Washington. DeMelo has averaged a career-high 19:50 ATOI while posting six assists in 32 games this season.

The Senators are "real hopeful" that DeMelo (finger) will play on Tuesday.

DeMelo has missed the last 10 games with a broken finger but was back on the ice for Monday's practice and is expected to play on Tuesday. The Senators did not hold a morning skate so we'll have to wait for an update during head coach D.J. Smith's pre-game availability.

DeMelo is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a broken finger.

DeMelo broke his finger late in Wednesday's game in Montreal and will be out until early-January. This is a huge blow for the Senators, who lose arguably their most consistent/reliable defenseman of 2019-20. Erik Brannstom could be summoned from the AHL to replace DeMelo.
