Dylan Ferguson News

Ferguson officially signed with Minnesota on a one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday and will remain with the Wild organization for the remainder of 2024-25. The 26-year-old has spent the season between the Iowa Wild (AHL) and Iowa Heartlanders (ECHL). Ferguson has two career NHL starts to his name and has picked up a victory alongside his .940 SV%.

Ferguson was 1-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .940 SV% but will head back to Belleville (AHL) with Cam Talbot expected to return to the Senators' lineup Thursday. The 24-year-old returns to Belleville, where he was 5-1-0 with a .935 SV% and 2.00 GAA.

Ferguson was incredible Monday, stopping 48 of 49 shots (.980 SV%) in his first career NHL game for his first career NHL win as he beat Pittsburgh. The 24-year-old has unfortunately come down with an illness and will now miss Tuesday's game vs. Boston.

Ferguson signed with the Senators on March 2nd and has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .935 SV% in six games with Belleville. The Senators have a back-to-back on Monday/Tuesday, so there's a chance that Ferguson will make his second career NHL appearance and Senators debut.

Ferguson is 3-3-0 with a 2.92 GAA and .904 SV% with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and Belleville Senators (AHL) and has been signed to a one-year, two-way contract Thursday with Ottawa.

Goldobin has been outstanding in the AHL this year, leading Utica with 20 points (8G / 12A) in 18 games. He returns to Vancouver, where he had 27 points (7G / 20A) in 63 games last year and should be a middle-6 winger in 2019-20.

Goldobin missed 19 games last season but totalled 27 points (7G / 20A) in his first fill NHL season. The 23-year-old has had a difficult time getting the Canucks coaching staff to trust him full-time in the top-6 and that will be even more difficult after the additions of Micheal Ferland and J.T. Miller this offseason. Still, Goldobin has 15-goal, 25-assist potential if he plays a full season. However, he looks like the Canucks 13th forward as we approach training camp.

Goldobin has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Markus Granlund on Saturday. Goldobin has been decent this season, collecting five goals and 18 assists (23 points) in 44 games.

Goldobin will be scratched on Tuesday because “he needs a reset” according to head coach Travis Green. Goldobin has just one assist in his last five games.

Goldobin was a healthy scratch in Montreal on Sunday but will replace Brendan Gaunce tonight in Washington. Goldobin has picked up just two goals and two assists (four points) in 12 games this season.
