The Canucks have recalled Nikolay Goldobin from Utica (AHL).

Goldobin, 22, has had a strong start to the year with Utica, collecting seven goals and 12 assists (19 points) in 18 games. The Russian winger could make his season debut this afternoon and returns to the Canucks where he had three goals in 12 games last season.

The Golden Knights have recalled Dylan Ferguson from Kamloops (WHL).

The Golden Knights have lost the first three goalies on their depth chart to injury, so Ferguson will make the jump from the WHL to the NHL where he will serve as Maxime Lagace’s backup at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. Ferguson has gone 4-9-0 with a 4.05 GAA and .878 SV% in 13 games with Kamloops so far this season.

The Canucks acquired Nikolay Goldobin and a conditional 2017 4th Round Pick from the Sharks for Jannik Hansen.

Goldobin, 21, was a first round pick in 2014, but has only appeared in 11 career NHL games since. He has had a really nice 2016-17 season in the AHL, where he was third on the San Jose Barracuda in points with 41 (15G / 256A) in 46 games. He is expected to report to the Canucks opposed to Utica.

The Sharks have recalled Nikolay Goldobin from San Jose (AHL).

Goldobin has one goal and one assist in five games with the Sharks this season. Despite being benched in the third period of Sunday’s AHL game, Goldobin was still recalled prior to Tuesday’s game vs. the Islanders. There is no word wether he will be in the lineup tonight.

The Sharks have recalled Nikolay Goldobin from San Jose (AHL).

Goldobin, 20, was the 27th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft. The Russian winger had five points (3G / 2A) in nine games with Worcester (AHL) after coming over from HIFK Helsinki last season. He will make his NHL debut tonight with Logan Couture out of the lineup.
