He missed the tail-end of the preseason with the shoulder ailment. The fifth overall pick cracked the roster regardless of the injury and appears set to make his NHL debut on Friday.
Lindholm was selected with the fifth overall pick in this year's draft. Lindholm has some of the best hands available in this year's draft. Keep an eye on Lindholm early in the season, he would be a great pickup (especially in a keeper league) if he sticks with Carolina.
Lindholm's game is said to be more of a two-way style so while GM Jim Rutherford expects Lindholm to be with the Canes when training camp starts, he isn't expected to have much fantasy impact.
