Chlapik replaced Mark Stone (lower-body) in the lineup on Monday but played just 7:58 TOI before leaving the game. The upper-body ailment will keep him out tonight so the Senators need to call-up another forward or go with with seven defensemen tonight.

Chlapik has registered two assists in seven games with Ottawa this season and he is expected to replace J-G Pageau in the lineup tonight. The 20-year-old has six goals and 11 assists (17 points) in 31 AHL games.
Chlapik, 20, has one assist in six games with the Senators this season but has spent most of his time in Belleville, where he has collected 15 points (6G / 9A) in 28 games. Chlapik will likely draw into the Senators lineup on Wednesday because Bobby Ryan (hand) did not travel to Toronto.
Chlapik had one assist in six games during his call-up but with Zack Smith expected to return on Friday he returns to the AHL. The 2015 second-round pick has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 27 AHL games this season.
Chlapik, 20, picked up one assist in his only game during his call-up but with the Senators off until Monday, he returns to Belleville for the time being. He could return prior to that contest, but if not he’ll stay in Belleville where he has three assists in seven games.
Chlapik, 20, was a second round pick (No.48 overall) in 2015 and could make his NHL debut on Thursday. Chlapik has recorded three assist in his first seven games with Belleville this season. He is coming off of a season where he had 91 points (34G / 57A) in 57 games with Charlottetown (QMJHL).
