Vatrano played just 9:25 TOI and 8:00 TOI in his last two games and is reportedly dealing with an upper-body injury. Vatrano is day-to-day and will be replaced by Matt Beleskey in the lineup vs. the Stars.

Vatrano was expected to push for a top-6 role in Boston following a strong rookie year in Providence (AHL) and Boston. Vatrano will undergo foot surgery on Monday and is expected to be out until late-December/early-January.
