The 20-year-old Perreault recorded one assists in three games with the Rangers earlier this season, but has spent most of the campaign in the AHL, where he has 17 points (10G / 7A) in 20 games with Hartford.

The Rangers are shaking up their roster, sending Jaroslav Chmelar and Brett Berard to Hartford (AHL), with Brennan Othmann and Gabriel Perreault coming back the other way in corresponding moves. The 20-year-old Perreault recorded one assists in three games with the Rangers earlier this season, but has spent most of the campaign in the AHL, where he has 17 points (10G / 7A) in 20 games with Hartford.

The Rangers' offensive struggles have been well documented this season, especially on home ice, and as such, they have recalled Perreault, their top prospect, from the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). The 20-year-old Perreault, the 23rd overall pick by the Rangers in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, has 10 points (5G / 5A) in nine games with Hartford this season. He is expected to suit up on a line with Mika Zibanejad and J.T. Miller.

Perreault was the 23rd overall pick of the New York Rangers in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The 19-year-old forward spent the previous two seasons impressing at the collegiate level, scoring a combined 108 points (35G / 73A) in 73 games with Boston College (H-East). He is expected to play on a line with J.T. Miller and Alexis Lafreniere.
