Sateri will start Friday vs. the Kings.

Sateri allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Panthers win over the Canucks on Tuesday. Even with James Reimer back, Sateri earned another start tonight vs. the Kings. Sateri has won four in a row while stopping 114 of 120 shots (.950 SV%) that he has faced. It has been an impressive run for the young netminder, who will look to win his fifth straight against a Kings team that has won four of their last five.

Sateri will start Tuesday vs. the Canucks.

Sateri allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Panthers win over the Red Wings on Saturday. Sateri has won three in a row while posting a 1.67 GAA and .946 SV%. Sateri’s run as the Panthers No.1 might be coming to an end soon, but he will get at least one more start tonight vs. the Canucks—Vancouver has gone 5-8-1 while averaging just 2.43 goals for in their last 14.

Sateri allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Panthers win against the Islanders on Tuesday. It was Sateri’s first career win and a significantly better performance than his previous three outings. Tonight he faces the Sabres, who are last in the Eastern Conference and 6-13-3 on home ice this season.

Sateri allowed four goals on 46 shots in the Panthers loss to the Capitals last Thursday. Sateri will be making his fourth straight appearance but the first three have not gone well—he has allowed a combined 14 goals on 111 shots (.874 SV%). Things don’t get any easier in Brooklyn tonight as the Islanders possess one of the best offensive teams in the NHL.

The Panthers have recalled Harri Sateri from Springfield (AHL).

Roberto Luongo was hurt in the Panthers shootout loss to the Islanders on Monday, so Sateri has been called up to serve as the Panthers’ No.2 behind James Reimer. The 27-year-old has gone 5-6-0 with a 2.76 GAA and .906 SV% in 12 games with the Thunderbirds this season.

*****McLellan said it’s too soon to know which players he’ll be bringing to Anaheim on Wednesday for the pre-season opener beyond the fact it’ll be Thomas Greiss and Harri Sateri dividing time in nets.

Sateri holds an outside shot of making the team out of camp. The Finnish product made his North American debut last season, playing seven games for the Worchester Sharks.
