Bishop was pulled after allowing three goals on 15 shots in the Stars come-from-behind win in Edmonton on Saturday. Bishop seems to either play great and win or get pulled. Overall, he has gone 6-5-1 with a 2.29 GAA (4th in the NHL) and .925 SV% (t-6th) in 14 starts. Vancouver has lost three of their last four (1-2-1) on the road.

Bishop had his shutout bid ended late in Saturday's win over the Canadiens. He stopped 35 of 36 shots in that game and has now stopped 134 of the last 141 (.950 SV%) that he has faced. Bishop is rolling and tonight he takes on a Colorado team that is 1-3-1 while scoring just 12 goals in five games (2.40 GF/gm) without Mikko Rantanen.

Bishop will start Saturday vs. the Canadiens.

Bishop was pulled for the start of the second period of Tuesday's come from behind win over the Wild. He allowed two goals on 10 shots but the move was more to inject some life into the team than a negative reflection on Bishop's play. He comes into Saturday's start having gone 2-1-0 with a 1.83 GAA and .943 SV% in his last four outings, so he's a solid option vs. the 7-4-2 Canadiens.

BIshop will start Tuesday vs. the Wild.

Bishop allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Stars loss to the Penguins on Saturday. After starting the season at 1-4-1 with an .899 SV%, Bishop has since gone 2-1-0 with a .958 SV% in his last three outings. He's starting to look a lot more like the goalie that we saw in 2018-19 and that makes him a great option vs. Minnesota--the Wild offence is sputtering (2.36 GF/gm) and Bishop was 4-1-0 with a 0.89 GAA, .966 SV% and one shutout against them last season.

Ben Bishop
Bishop will start Thursday vs. the Ducks.

Bishop stopped 38 of 39 shots in the Stars win in Philadelphia last Saturday. With Anton Khudobin starting on Monday, Bishop comes into Thursday's game well-rested. Bishop has lost five of his first seven starts with a .913 SV% but the Stars are starting to play better hockey and he has a solid matchup vs. a Ducks team averaging just 2.40 GF/gm (27th in the NHL).

Bishop allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Stars loss in Columbus on Wednesday. After a dominant 2018-19 campaign, Bishop has struggled to start the year, posting 2.84 GAA and .899 SV% in six starts (1-4-1). Most of his struggles have come on the road, where he’s 1-3-0 with a 3.30 GAA and .891 SV% so far.

Bishop allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Stars loss in Buffalo on Monday. The Stars have stumbled out of the gate, with Bishop going 1-3-1 with a 2.78 GAA and .895 SV% in five games. As rough of a start as it has been, Bishop should be one of the best options on tonight’s six-game slate. The Blue Jackets are 2-3-0 and are averaging just 2.20 goals per game (t-26th).
