The Senators are off until Saturday so they get some salary savings by sending Beaudin down for a few days but look for him to return for the game in Boston.

When Jordan Szwarz was sent back to Belleville, it pointed towards Artem Anisimov being ready for Monday's game, but Beaudin's recall suggests otherwise. The 22-year-old centre has no points in two AHL games this season and just nine goals and 14 assists (23 points) 98 career AHL games.

Beaudin, 21, was a third-round pick in 2015 and has scored six goals with seven assists (13 points) in 42 games with Colorado (AHL) this season.
