The Devils will return to Allen in the crease for the third straight game on Thursday when they face off against the Winnipeg Jets. Allen has been excellent since being acquired in a pre-deadline trade, allowing only six total goals in three games (2-1-0), and posting a tremendous .946 SV%. That said, the Devils enter action as +109 home underdogs against a Jets club that has outscored their opposition 16-3 during a three-game winning streak.

The Devils will turn to Allen for the third time in the last four games since he made his team debut less than a week ago. Allen has been tremendous in two games (1-1-0) as a Devil, saving 69 of 73 combined shots (.945 SV%). The Devils' offence has been limited to only one goal in three of their last four games (1-3-0), but they enter action against the Penguins as -125 home favourites.

The Devils enter action as +164 road underdogs against a Dallas Stars club that is 5-1-0 in their last six and is coming off a disappointing 4-3 loss to the Florida Panthers.

Speculation about the Devils acquiring a goalie all season was finally validated on Friday when they acquired Allen from the Montreal Canadiens for a conditional third-round pick that can become a second-round pick depending on games played. Allen is currently sporting a .892 SV% and a career-worst 3.65 GAA through 21 games this season (6-12-3).

The Canadiens will turn to Allen between the pipes as they attempt to snap a two-game losing skid on Tuesday. Allen is winless in his last five outings and has allowed four or more goals in three straight, including four on 24 shots (.833 SV%) in a 4-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils on February 24th. Allen and the Canadiens will visit a Nashville Predators club riding an eight-game winning streak.

After playing only once in a span of eight games, Allen will return to the crease for the second time in the last three games on Saturday. Allen allowed three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) in his last outing, a 4-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The Canadiens will face off against a Penguins club that defeated them 4-3 last month and is playing on the back end of a back-to-back.

Allen has watched from the sidelines as the Canadiens have been outscored 15-6 in their last two games (0-2-0), including a 6-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The Senators will turn to Allen in the crease on Tuesday in a rematch against the Senators as he looks to build on a stellar showing in his last performance, a 32-save (.914 SV%) showing in a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.

Allen will be back between the pipes for the Habs for the first time since January 4th, as Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau split the netminding duties over Montreal's previous four games. Allen struggled his last time out, allowing five goals on 37 shots enroute to a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the Sabres. He owns a disappointing 4-8-2 record on the season along with a .900 SV% and a 3.52 GAA. He'll have his hands full again on Monday as the Canadiens host Nathan MacKinnon and the Avalanche.

Allen will start for the first time since allowing three goals on 25 shots (.880 SV%) on December 30th in a 4-1 loss to the Florida Panthers. Allen will attempt to start 2024 better than he ended 2023, winning only one of his last nine contests (1-7-1), posting a subpar .887 SV%. The Canadiens are coming off an impressive 4-3 win over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday but are +128 home underdogs against the Buffalo Sabres, who have lost three of their last four (1-2-1), being outscored 15-8.

Allen has only started once in the last two weeks but will return to the crease on Monday against the Winnipeg Jets. Allen played well in a 2-1 losing effort to the Nashville Predators in his last outing on December 10th, saving 30 of 32 shots (.938 SV%). That said, Allen has struggled with consistency this season. After recording at least a point for his team in his first four outings (3-0-1), Allen has failed to record a victory in seven consecutive games (0-6-1), posting a .881 SV% in the process. As a result, the Canadiens are +220 road favourites against a Jets team that is among the hottest in the NHL, winning six of their last seven contests (6-1-0).

Its been three games since Allen took the crease vs. Boston but he will look to snap a personal four-game losing streak Saturday as he takes on Los Angeles on the road. The 33-year-old has hovered around his career averages all season with his 3-4-1 record, 3.54 GAA and .907 SV%. He will take on the red hot Los Angeles Kings on the road who have won four straight and are second in the NHL in goals (4.0) and seventh in shots per game (32.2).

Allen has backed up the last three games for Montreal but will take the crease Saturday in Boston. The 33-year-old veteran netminder has been solid when called upon this season, with his 3-3-1 record, .911 SV% and 3.30 GAA. He draws the touch task of facing Boston on the road Saturday, who has won three of their last four games and are 13th in the NHL in goals per game (3.33).
