Allen allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Blues win in Carolina on Sunday. It was Allen’s first win since coming back from a knee injury and 19th of the season. Allen has gone 8-5-2 with a 2.59 GAA and .919 SV% o the road this season and tonight he faces a Senators team that has won five of their last six.

The Blues acquired Anders Nilsson who was recalled from Chicago (AHL) and will backup Allen this afternoon. Allen has posted a 3.43 GAA and .873 SV% in three appearances since returning from a knee injury.

Allen allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Blues loss to the Rangers on Thursday. He has allowed four goals on 40 shots (.900 SV%) in two appearances since returning from a knee injury. With Brian Elliott out, Allen will start again tonight in Nashville. He is 3-0-0 with a 1.31 GAA and .962 SV% in three starts vs. the Predators this season.

Allen allowed two goals on 17 shots after replacing the injured Brian Elliott in the Blues loss to San Jose on Monday. With Elliott out, Allen will take over as the Blues’ No. 1 starter tonight vs. the Rangers. Allen has gone 11-7-1 with a 1.98 GAA and .924 SV% in 18 starts and one relief appearance at Scottrade Center this season.

Allen who was injured in Saturday’s game in Anaheim and sat out Sunday’s contest. It wasn’t immediately clear how serious Allen’s injury was, but the Blues announced that he week-to-week, which means he will miss at least a few weeks. With Allen out, the Blues turn to Brian Elliott as their starter and Jordan Binnington as the backup. Elliott is 6-4-4 with a 2.33 GAA and .919 SV% this season.

Allen left after Corey Perry collided with him. Allen left early in the second period, turning things over to Brain Elliott. There was no update on Allen’s status after the game, but expect Elliott to start on Saturday and there should be an update on Allen in the next few days.

Allen allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Blues overtime loss in Colorado on Wednesday. Allen has now lost three straight games while allowing a combined nine goals on 93 shots (.903 SV%). Despite his recent struggles, the Blues will go back to him tonight in Anaheim. It is a solid matchup vs. a low-scoring team, don’t be afraid to deploy Allen.

Allen gave up three goals on 32 shots in the Blues loss in Toronto on Saturday. Brian Elliott started on Monday, but Allen will go tonight in Colorado. Allen has had a great year and he has been impressive on the road, going 7-4-1 with a 2.34 GAA and .927 SV% in 12 away starts. He lost his first start against the Avs, but he should make for a great start tonight.

Allen allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Blues loss to the Wild on Thursday. Allen finished December at 7-5-0 with a 2.14 GAA and .922 SV%. Allen will make his second start of the season against the Maple Leafs—he had a tough time in his first game, allowing four goals on 29 shots in a 4-1 loss back in November.

He has now won three in a row and five of his last six and will get a chance to close out the 2015 section of the Blues’ schedule tonight vs. Minnesota. Allen has an impressive 2.08 GAA and .927 SV% on the season and comes in at 1-1-0 with a 2.44 GAA and .900 SV% in two starts vs. the Wild this year.

Allen allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Blues win over the Stars on Saturday. Brian Elliott got the nod on Sunday, but they will go back to Allen tonight vs. the Predators. Allen has won four of his last five while posting a 1.98 GAA and .934 SV%. He has faced the Preds twice already this season, going 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA, .986 SV% and one shutout in the first two.

Allen allowed four goals on 31 shots in the Blues loss in Philadelphia on Monday. Despite the loss last night, the Blues will go back to Allen tonight in Boston. That puts Allen at 4-4-0 with 2.37 GAA and .912 SV% in December, easily his worst month of the season, but still solid. Tonight he will take on a Bruins team that has won five of their last six games.

After Brian Elliott started on Saturday, the Blues will go back to Allen tonight in Philly. Allen comes in at 6-2-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .927 SV% on the road this season.
