Silfverberg (upper-body) is expected to return to the Ducks lineup on Monday.

Silfverberg has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury but was a full participant in Sunday’s practice and will likely play tonight. Silfverberg, who has 12 points (6G / 6A) in 25 games this season, will skate on the second line with Adam Henrique and Andrew Cogliano.

Silfverberg (upper-body) returned to practice on Monday; could play on Tuesday.

Silfverberg missed the final three games before the All-Star break, but he was back on a line with Ryan Kesler and Andrew Cogliano this morning, which suggests he’ll be back in versus the Avalanche on Tuesday. Silfverberg is on-pace for a career-year having scored 13 goals with 16 assists (29 points) in 48 games so far this season.

Silfverberg (upper-body) is day-to-day and will not travel on their upcoming two-game road trip.

Silfverberg left Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury and will miss at leas the next two games. This is a tough break for Silfverberg, who is having a great season to date. The Swedish winger is on-pace for a career-high 22 goals and 27 assists this season.

Silfverberg (upper-body) skated on his own on Tuesday; cleared to practice on Wednesday.

Silfverberg did not practice on Tuesday, but did skate on his own. He has been cleared for practice and should be able to get into the season opener since the Ducks don’t play until Saturday. He is currently skating on a line with Ryan Kesler and Andrew Cogliano.

The Ducks signed Jakob Silfverberg to a one-year, $850K contract.

In his first season with the Ducks, Silfverberg was limited to 52 games because of a broken hand. He finished the season with 10 goals and 13 assists (23 points) while playing mostly third line minutes. Silfverberg will battle to move into the top-six to earn a chance to play with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry or on the second line with Ryan Kesler.

It appears as if Silfverberg will be a healthy scratch tonight.

Head coach Bruce Boudreau continues to shuffle wingers in and out of his lineup as the Olympic break approaches. Silfverberg has produced recently, but lacks consistency. He has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 27 games this season and will likely slot back into the lineup on Saturday at Dodgers Stadium.

Silfverberg in; Teemu Selanne out.

Silfverberg was a healthy scratch on Thursday, but will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Coyotes. Head coach Bruce Boudreau continues to shuffle players in and out of the lineup. Silfverberg has registered three assists and a plus-2 in his last four games and has totalled 11 points (5G / 6A) in 21 games.

Silfverberg will be a healthy scratch tonight; Tim Jackman is in.

Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau is trying to rest his team leading up to the Olympic break and also does not want one player sitting for too long. It is definitely frustrating for fantasy owners, because it can be difficult to keep up with. I don't believe this healthy scratch is performance related seeing as how Silfverberg has recorded four assists in his last five games.
