Spurgeon (head) will start working out on Saturday.

Spurgeon has missed the last four games and will miss his fifth consecutive tonight in Colorado. Today was the first time that Spurgeon has skated since getting injured in mid-February. He remains without a timetable for his return, but it is a great sign that he was able to resume skating today.

Spurgeon (upper-body) will not travel on the Wild's upcoming two-game road-trip.

Spurgeon was already ruled out of tonight’s game and has now been ruled out for the next two games. He remains day-to-day and will likely be moved to the IR to create a roster spot.

Spurgeon (upper-body) will not play on Friday.

Spurgeon was hit in the face with a shot on Wednesday and he will miss tonight’s game as he is being evaluated for a concussion. Spurgeon is a native of Edmonton, so you know he wanted to be in this game tonight. He will be replaced by Christian Folin.

Spurgeon (illness) is not expected to play on Tuesday.

As of right now, the Wild say that Spurgeon will miss his second straight game with a stomach illness. Coach Mike Yeo is expected to address the media at 6:30 PM ET, where Spurgeon will officially be ruled in or out. If Spurgeon can’t go, Stu Bickel will stay in the lineup.

Spurgeon (shoulder) is expected to return to the Wild lineup on Thursday.

Spurgeon has missed the last five games with a shoulder injury that he suffered on October 30th against the Sharks. There is no word on who will come out of the lineup to make room for Spurgeon, but we will likely find out during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Spurgeon (shoulder) is skating in a no-contact jersey.

Spurgeon has missed the last four games with a shoulder injury that he suffered on October 30th. The Wild have not given many details on Spurgeon’s injury, but his return to the ice this morning suggests that he is not that far from a return. However, the Wild have a lot of capable NHL defensemen, so they won't rush Spurgeon.

Spurgeon will miss "a few games" with an undisclosed injury.

Spurgeon was reportedly late in Thursday's game and it will cost him a few games. There is no word on the nature or severity of his injury, but he should be considered day-to-day. Jonas Brodin could be back in the lineup on Saturday to fill-in for Spurgeon.

Wild head coach Mike Yeo said there is a very good chance that Spurgeon plays on Tuesday.

Spurgeon has missed 14 games with a broken foot, but it sounds like he will be back in tomorrow. There was talk that he may return this past Saturday but that never ended up coming together. He has one goal and 11 assists in 43 games this season.

Updating an earlier report; Spurgeon will NOT return to the WIld blueline tonight.

Just kidding! There were reports that Spurgeon looked in line to return to the Wild's blueline tonight, but he will end up being held out of his 14th consecutive game. Keith Ballard will stay in the lineup.

Spurgeon (foot) may return for the Wild Saturday.

Spurgeon, who has missed the past 13 games with a broken foot, might return against the Flames. Spurgeon didn’t take part in a regular pairing during Friday’s practice, but the Wild made sure to get him plenty of reps. “I thought he looked really good moving the puck and showed no problems whatsoever working in the D zone,” coach Mike Yeo said. If Spurgeon returns, Keith Ballard would be the likely scratch.
