Hudler (illness) could return to the lineup this weekend.
Hudler has been sidelined by and illness since November 1st, but it looks like he may finally return this weekend. Hudler has only appeared in four games this season, failing to record a point.

He had 35 points (10G / 25A) in 53 games with the Flames before being traded to the Panthers at the deadline—he added 11 points in 19 games with Florida. He now signs with Dallas, where he figures to battle with some of their young forwards for a top-6 role.

Hudler missed Thursday’s game due to a visa issue but will play tonight in Arizona. He had no points, one shot and a minus-2 rating in 13:56 TOI in his Panthers’ debut on Tuesday.

The Panthers have acquired Jiri Hudler from the Flames for a 2016 second round pick and a 2018 fourth round pick.
Hudler, 32, has had a down season after posted a career-high 76 points (31G / 45A) in 78 games last season. He has 10 goals and 25 assists (35 points) in 53 games this season and now he heads to Florida where he will be part of a Stanley Cup bid before becoming a free agent this summer. Look for him to play on a line with Nick Bjugstad.
