Setoguchi was a healthy scratch for the last two games before being placed on waivers on Sunday. Setoguchi is sent to Ontario having collected just 12 points (4G / 8A) while averaging 12:27 TOI/GM in 45 games with the Kings.
The Maple Leafs have signed Devin Setoguchi to a professional tryout (PTO).
Setoguchi, 28, had zero points in 12 games with the Flames and just 10 points (3G / 7A) in 19 games with Adirondack (AHL) in 2014-15. The Maple Leafs are thin upfront, so they have brought in a number of veteran forwards to compete for a roster spot.
