He takes on the Dallas Stars, who have won four of their last six games and are eighth in the NHL in goals per game (3.43).

Daccord has a 24-6-3 record, .915 SV% and 2.43 GAA with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) and has been recalled on an emergency basis Monday due to Philipp Grubauer being day-to-day with an illness. Daccord is expected to backup Martin Jones for the time being.

Daccord will make his first start of the season for Seattle after posting an ugly .850 SV% and 4.30 GAA with the Kraken last year. The 26-year-old even struggled prior to his call-up, posting a .880 SV% and 3.36 GAA for Coachella (AHL). He should face a ton of rubber as he takes on a Flames team that ranks third in the NHL in SOG per game with 37.4.

Daccord left Wednesday's game vs. the Canucks with an apparent leg injury and is expected to miss some time. Daccord had been playing well, stopping 77 of the last 85 shots (.906 SV%) in his last three appearances. With Matt Murray also hurt, Filip Gustavsson becomes their No.1, but Ottawa is off until Monday.
