Klingberg suffered a lower-body injury during Saturday's practice and was not on the ice for Monday's morning skate. Head coach Dean Evason would not disclose his lineup for Game 1 and Klingberg did not come out for warmups so is considered out.

The Wild acquired Klingberg on Friday in exchange for Andrej Sustr, a 2025 fourth-round draft pick, and the rights to Nikita Nesterenko.

After signing a one-year contract with the Ducks in the off-season, Klingberg moves on from a disastrous 50-game stint in Anaheim.
