Gustavsson led the Griffins to a 3-1 win over the Toronto Marlies this morning which wrapped up his two-game conditioning stint—he went 1-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .937 SV%. Petr Mrazek is scheduled to start tomorrow, but The Monster could find himself back in goal on Saturday in Arizona. JimmyHoward is expected back for the following game, so Mrazek could then be headed back to Grand Rapids.

He is 1-1-0 with a 1.45 GAA, .935 SV% and one shutout in two starts. He makes for an OK spot-start tonight, but he probably won't get too much goal support, Detroit is struggling to find twine.

He gets the call tonight in Philadelphia, an arena the Red Wings have not won in since game 2 of the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals. However, Detroit is playing good hockey right now so he makes for a nice spot-start option.

Gustavsson has spent the last two seasons as the Red Wings back-up while earning $1.5 million. He gets a raise heading into 2014-15 after turning in a 16-5-4 record with a 2.65 GAA and .907 SV%. Jimmy Howard is the Red Wings clear number-1, but The Monster was as steady a number-2 as there was last season. Should Howie struggle again next season, Gustavsson's fantasy value will once again be on the rise.
