Quick allowed five goals on 36 shots in the Kings loss to the Golden Knights last Sunday. Through three starts, Quick has allowed 19 shots on 92 shots (.793 SV%). When your GAA and SV% are almost the same, you know you’re not playing well. Calgary is t-20th in goal-scoring right now but it’s very difficult to trust Quick in this spot given how poorly he has started the season.

Quick has had a terrible start to the season, allowing a combined 14 goals on 56 shots (.750 SV%) in two games. With Jack Campbell starting last night vs. the Predators, Quick draws the terrible matchup vs. the Golden Knights. Stay far away from him tonight.
Quick was limited to 46 starts last season and went 16-23-7 while posting career-worsts in GAA (3.38) and SV% (.888). You could blame it on playing behind a bad team but his backup, Jack Campbell, was third in the NHL in SV% and fifth in GAA. Entering his 13th season, Quick could bounce-back but don’t bank on it. He was 1-2-0 with a 3.45 GAA and .869 SV% vs. the Oilers last season.
