The Islanders have activated Jordan Eberle (undisclosed) from IR.

Eberle has missed the last four games with an undisclosed injury but appears ready to return to the lineup on Saturday. Eberle will likely re-claim his spot on the top-line from Josh Ho-Sang and returns to the lineup with 17 points (7G / 10A) in 35 games this season.

Eberle (undisclosed) is questionable for this weekend's games after missing Friday's practice.

Eberle was banged up in the Islanders practice on Thursday and missed Friday’s session as a result. After the skate, Eberle told reporters that he should be OK for the weekend games but monitor his status during today’s morning skate to be sure.

The Islanders have acquired Jordan Eberle from the Oilers for Ryan Strome.

Eberle scored 20 goals with 31 assists (51 points) in 82 games with the Oilers last season. The 27-year-old winger struggled in the playoffs, collected just two assists in 13 games before the Oilers were bounced. Eberle has averaged 24 goals and 32 assists (56 points) over that last four seasons and could see ample playing time with John Tavares in 2018.

Eberle (shoulder) will practice the next two days; could play Friday.

Eberle who has been practicing, is expected to get in two more practices before he makes his season debut on Friday vs. the Penguins. This is the best timing possible with the Oilers losing Connor McDavid for a couple of months. Eberle had 24 goals and 39 assists (63 points) in 81 games las season.

Eberle (shoulder) returned to practice on Thursday.

Eberle has missed the first 10 games of the season with a shoulder injury. He was placed on LTIR this morning, but is eligible to return whenever he is healthy. Eberle’s movement to LTIR allowed the Oilers to recall Leon Draisaitl. His return to practice is a good sign that he is on pace with his 4-6 week timetable—he is currently four weeks into that recovery.

Eberle is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Eberle left Tuesday’s preseason game with a shoulder injury and was seen wearing a sling after the game. This afternoon the Oilers announced that their star winger will miss at least the first three weeks of the regular season with a shoulder injury. His injury means that Anton Slepyshev will probably start the season with the Oilers and Leon Draisaitl could start in the top-6.

Eberle left Tuesday’s preseason game with an apparent shoulder injury and did not return.

Eberle left the game after taking a hit into the end boards and departed the ice immediately. Eberle was reportedly spotted wearing a sling after the game which isn’t an encouraging sign. The Oilers have yet to disclose the exact nature or severity of the injury, so stay tuned.

Eberle (undisclosed) is not on the ice for the Oilers morning skate.

Eberle did not skate on Monday and is not on the ice this morning. Yesterday was believed to be a "maintenance" day, but his absence today as well likely suggests he won't play tonight vs. the Kings. A full update on Eberle's status should be available upon the completion of the morning skate.
