Isaac Ratcliffe News

The Predators have acquired Isaac Ratcliffe from Flyers for future considerations.

Ratcliffe was a second-round pick in 2017 but has yet to make an impact at the NHL level. The 6-foot-6, 200 lbs winger has appeared in just 10 NHL games in five years, spending all of 2023 in the AHL so far. In 26 games with Lehigh Valley, Ratcliffe has just four points (2G / 2A). He'll likely report to Milwaukee (AHL).

The Penguins have acquired Josh Jooris from the Hurricanes for Greg McKegg.

Jooris has just six points (3G / 3A) in 31 games this season and is expected to go to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) right away. This is a minor trade and Jooris will likely serve as wing depth during the postseason.

Josh Jooris
Jooris is expected to draw into the Hurricanes lineup on Sunday.

Jooris came out of the lineup vs. the Maple Leafs on Friday, but based on Saturday’s practice he will replace Phil Di Giuseppe vs. the Predators this afternoon. Jooris has two goals and two assists in 15 games this season.

Jooris (lower-body) will not play Saturday in Buffalo.

Jooris will come out of the lineup tonight because of a lower-body injury, opening the door for Marcus Kruger (illness) to get back in the lineup after a one-game absence.

The Hurricanes have signed Josh Jooris to a one-year deal worth $775K.

After two years in Calgary, Jooris split his 2016-17 season between the Rangers and Coyotes, where he had four goals and eight assists (12 points) in 54 games. Jooris is a hard-working forward that plays all three forward positions, but has posted limited offensive numbers in his brief three-year NHL career.

Jooris will be in the Coyotes’ lineup on Monday.

Jooris was a healthy scratch for the last four games and seven of the last eight contests, but will draw in for Lawson Crouse (lower-body) tonight in Calgary. Jooris played for Calgary in the first two years of his career, collecting a total of 16 goals and 21 assists (37 points) in 119 games.

Josh Jooris
Jooris will miss 3-4 weeks due to a separated shoulder.

Jooris left Wednesday’s game vs. the Bruins after separating his shoulder in just three minutes of playing time. Jooris could miss up to one month and he will be replaced by Pavel Buchnevich in the lineup on Friday.

Josh Jooris
The Rangers signed Josh Jooris to a one-year contract worth $975K on July 15th.

Jooris, 26, spent the first two years of his NHL career with the Flames, scoring 16 goals with 21 assists (37 points) in a combined 119 games. He heads to New York where he will likely land a bottom-6 role in training camp.
