Avalanche coach Jared Bednar indicated Manson reaggravated the same lower-body injury he suffered in December. The 31-year-old blue-liner has two goals and eight assists in 27 games for the Avalanche this season.

Manson left the Avalanches' game on Dec. 1st vs. Buffalo with a lower-body injury after playing only 10:17 TOI. It is yet another injury for Colorado, which is without several key roster pieces. Manson has two goals, six points and 40 PIMs through 21 games this season.

The Avalanche acquired Manson from the Ducks in mid-March and he had 15 points (5G / 10A) in 42 combined games between the regular season and playoffs. Manson sticks around as a top-4 D option to play alongside Samuel Girard/Bowen Byram.

Manson was acquired from the Anaheim Ducks on Monday and will immediately step into the Avalanche lineup on Tuesday. The Avalanche played a man down in their last game, so he won't replace anyone. Without a morning skate, it's unclear who he will skate next to in his debut.

Manson is in the final year of a four-year deal with a $4.1M AAV cap-hit. The Ducks retained 50 percent of Manson's cap-hit and the 30-year-old will help solidify Colorado's bottom-4. Manson projects to play with Samuel Girard when the Avalanche are fully healthy.

Manson has been sidelined since January 29th but is set to play Saturday in New Jersey. Manson will likely replace Andrej Sustr in the lineup and comes in with just seven points (3G / 4A) in 43 games this season.

Manson suffered an upper-body injury in Ottawa on Saturday and will not be available for Monday's game in Detroit. Josh Mahura will draw into the lineup to replace him.

Manson has missed the last four games while in COVID-19 protocol but will return to the lineup on Thursday. It's unclear who Manson will replace on the blueline or if the Ducks will go with seven defensemen. He has scored three goals with three assists in 41 games this season.

Entering COVID-19 protocol means that Manson will miss at least the next two games. He'll most likely be back in the Ducks' lineup next Monday in Boston.

Manson has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but will play Monday in Minnesota. It's unclear who Manson replaces but he re-enters the lineup with no points a minus-2 rating in six games this season.

In his third game back from injury, Manson has hurt again on Monday and will not play Wednesday vs. the Kings. Josh Mahura will replace Manson in the lineup.

Manson was hurt midway through Monday's game and did not return, playing just 10:17 TOI. Head coach Dallas Eakins said that he is unsure about Manson's availability for Wednesday and that he considers him day-to-day until the medical staff tells him differently. If Manson can't go on Wednesday, look for Josh Mahura to draw back into the lineup.
