The Stars have recalled Jussi Rynnas from Texas (AHL).

Rynnas struggled with the Stars earlier in the season, but has been relatively strong with Texas. He has gone 13-3-6 with a 2.68 GAA and .915 SV% in the AHL. He will likely serve as Kari Lehtonen’s backup while Anders Lindback is on a conditioning loan with Texas.

The Stars have sent Jussi Rynnas back to Texas (AHL).

Rynnas went 0-1-0 with a 4.57 GAA and .841 SV% in one start and one relief appearance in his short stint with the Stars. He heads back to the AHL, where he is 5-1-4 with a 2.58 GAA and .913 SV%.

The Stars placed Anders Lindback on waivers yesterday and recalled Rynnas and they won’t hesitate to use him by the looks of things. He was 5-1-4 with a 2.58 GAA and .913 SV% in the AHL before being recalled. He has one career start, he allowed seven goals on 30 shots in a 7-1 loss to the Flyers while playing with Toronto in 2011-12.
