Dahlbeck played on Saturday as the Hurricanes wanted to get some fresh bodies in on the second game of a back-to-back, so Haydn Fleury draws back in for Dahlbeck this afternoon.

Dahlbeck has been a healthy scratch for most of the season, but it looks like he will play in his fifth game with the Hurricanes this afternoon. Dahlbeck has no points in four games and is expected to replace Trevor van Riemsdyk in the lineup today.

The Hurricanes have claimed Klas Dahlbeck off of waivers from the Coyotes.
Dahlbeck, 25, had eight points (2G / 6A) in 71 games with the Coyotes last year. Dahlbeck has good size (6’3” / 207 lbs.), but doesn’t play an overly physical brand of hockey and is not very offensive either. Dahlbeck has 12 points (3G / 9A) in 94 career NHL games with Chicago and Arizona.

Dahlbeck, 24, spent the majority of 2015-16 with the Coyotes, where he collected eight points (2G / 6A) in 71 games. The former third round pick (79th overall in 2011) has just 12 career points (3G / 9A) in 94 games between Arizona and Chicago.

Dahlbeck, 23, is a big-body at 6-foot-2, 194 lbs. but is not overly physical. The 2011 third round pick (79th overall) had one goal in four games with Chicago this season and 10 points (4G / 6A) in 49 games with Rockford (AHL).

Dahlbeck, 23, was the 79th overall pick in 2011. After spending three years in Sweden, he is now in his third full year in North America. He has totalled 12 goals and 29 assists (41 points) in 97 AHL games through last year and 22 games this season. No word on who would come out of the lineup to make room for Dahlbeck.

Dahlbeck, 23, has registered two goals and four assists in 22 games with Rockford this season. He has yet to play in an NHL contest, but he is expected to play sometime shortly. The 6-foot-2 defenseman was the Blackhawks third round pick (79th overall) in 2011.
