Goodrow was hurt in a seemingly meaningless game vs. the Panthers and will likely miss part of the playoffs after being listed as "out indefinitely." Luckily for the Lightning, Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos are expected to be back for the postseason.

MacDermid was set to become an RFA this offseason but signed an extension that takes him through the 2022 season. MacDermid set career-highs in games played (45), goals (3), assists (5) and points (8) in his third season with the Kings.

This is a bit of a surprising return for an undrafted 26-year-old with just 24 points (8G / 16A) in 62 games this season. However, he is under contract next season with a very small $925K cap-hit, which is good news for a cap-strapped Lightning team. Goodrow has good size (6-foot-2, 215 lbs) and is a capable penalty killer that really bolsters Tampa Bay's fourth line.

MacDermid played in the last two games but will be replaced by Paul LaDue in the lineup on Saturday.

MacDermid has been in the Kings lineup for the last nine games, but failed to record a point while posting a minus-7 rating. Overall he had just one goal and three assists in 34 games with the Kings, so he will head to Ontario to get some seasoning.

Goodrow has yet to appear in a single game yet this season at any level. Last season he had just one assist in three games with the Sharks, but picked up 25 goals and 20 assists (45 points) in 61 games with the Barracuda (AHL).

Goodrow, 22, spent the majority of last season with the Sharks, but has been in the AHL for most of this year. Goodrow had three assists in 12 games with the Sharks earlier in the year and eight goals and three assists (11 points) in 15 games with San Jose (AHL).

Goodrow has produced just three assists in 12 games with the Sharks this season, so he has been sent back to the AHL. The Sharks did not announce a corresponding call-up.

Goodrow, 22, has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 60 games with the Sharks this season. He heads back to Worcester where he didn’t have a point in two games before his recall.

Goodrow, 21, was sent down during the All Star break, but is back and will likely be in the lineup on Thursday vs. the Ducks. He has two goals and five assists (7 points) in 31 games with the Sharks this season.
