Ullmark allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Sabres' win over the Maple Leafs on Friday. Carter Hutton was handed the loss in Toronto on Saturday, so they'll come back to Ullmark on Monday night. He was the better of the two in November but still wasn't great, going 3-4-1 with a 3.29 GAA and .894 SV% in eight outings. He hasn't been great but draws a nice matchup on Monday--New Jersey has lost four of their last six (2-4-0) while scoring 2.50 goals per game.

Ullmark stopped 21 of 23 shots in the Sabres win over the Senators on Saturday. The win moved Ullmark to 2-1-0 with a. 2.29 GAA and .930 SV% on home-ice. With Carter Hutton struggling, Ullmark is starting to carve out a larger role in the Sabres' crease. He draws a nice matchup on Tuesday with Minnesota going 3-10-0 while scoring just 2.15 goals per game on the road.

Zadorov ended up only missing three games with a fractured jaw that he suffered just over a week ago. Zadorov will likely replace Kevin Connauton on Colorado's third pair.

Ullmark gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Sabres loss to the Lighting in the first game in Sweden. He hasn't played a lot this year but has had some strong outings, going 3-3-1 with a .915 SV% overall. A home start against a Senators team that played last night makes Ullmark an intriguing spot-start option.

Zadorov took a puck off of the face on Thursday and broke his jaw. The towering defenseman has undergone surgery and will miss at least a couple of weeks, so expect Mark Barberio to draw into the lineup on Saturday.

Zadorov is believed to have suffered a broken jaw after being hit by a puck in Thursday's win. Mark Barberio is expected to draw in for him on Saturday and a seventh defenseman will likely be recalled from the AHL at some point.

Ullmark gave up six goals on 34 shots in the Sabres loss in Washington last Friday. It was an ugly outing for Ullmark, who will start in his native country on Friday afternoon. He has allowed at least three goals in four of his six starts and has a tough assignment vs. the Lightning, who are averaging 3.31 goals per game (10th in the NHL) through their first 13 games.

Ullmark stopped all 41 shots that he faced in the Sabres shutout win in Detroit last Friday. He will start the front-end of the Sabres back-to-back, which leaves Carter Hutton to face the Islanders on Saturday. Ullmark has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.21 GAA, .938 SV% and one shutout. He’ll be in tough against a Capitals team that is third in goal scoring (3.79 GF/gm).

Ullmark allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Sabres win in San Jose on Saturday. The Sabres broke their goalie rotation on Thursday but that leaves Ullmark to start the tail-end of a back-to-back in Detroit. The 26-year-old is 2-1-1 with a 3.18 GAA and .913 SV% in his first four starts of the year and has had a lot of success vs. Detroit in his career—3-0-2 with a 2.50 GAA and .924 SV%.


Zadorov was a healthy scratch in Pittsburgh on Wednesday but will play Friday in Florida. Mark Barberio is the likely candidate to come out of the lineup to make room for Zadorov, who has one goal, one assist, a plus-3 rating, 15 PIMS and seven shots in five games this season.
