The Predators signed Mark Jankowski to a one-year, two-way contract.

Jankowski was with the Sabres last season, scoring two goals with three assists in 19 games. He spent more time in the AHL, registering 27 points (10G / 17A) in 32 games for Rochester. Heading to Nashville, he may open the 2022-23 season with Milwaukee (AHL).

The Sabres placed Mark Jankowski in COVID-19 protocol on Sunday.

Jankowski and Dylan Cozens were placed on the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday, joining Zemgus Girgensons, Jeff Skinner and Vinnie Hinostroza, who were on the list prior to the Christmas break. Jankowski and Cozens will likely be out until the middle of next week--the other three are eligible to come off earlier.

The Penguins have signed Mark Jankowski to a one-year deal worth $700K.

Jankowski struggled in 2020, going from 32 points in 2019 to just seven points (5G / 2A) in 56 games last year. Jankowski moves on to Pittsburgh, where he is expected to serve as the third line centre behind Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. He has bounce-back potential but won't be anywhere near fantasy lineups.

The Flames have recalled Mark Jankowski from Stockton (AHL).

Jankowski, 23, was a first round pick (No.21 overall) in 2012 and could make his season debut this week with Jaromir Jagr going on IR. Jankowski, who had a good camp, has recorded eight points (5G / 3A) in six games with the Stockton to start 2017-18. Jankowski has produced at all levels, so expect much of the same when he becomes a full-time NHLer.

Mark Jankowski will make his NHL debut on Monday.

Jankowski was the 21st overall pick in 2012 and will play in his first career NHL game tonight in Brooklyn. Jankowski picked up 12 points (3G / 9A) in 13 games with Stockton (AHL) this season. The Canadian-born centre will draw in, but the Flames did not announce who will come out. The obvious choice would be Freddie Hamilton, but there are some rumblings that it could be Sean Monahan, who has struggled as of late.
