The Stars have placed Martin Hanzal (hamstring) on IR.

Hanzal was listed as week-to-week with a hamstring injury so his move to IR was simply a formality to create a roster spot to recall Jason Dickinson from Texas (AHL). Hanzal has had a lot of injury troubles throughout his career and 2017-18 has been a disaster so far.
