Michael Cammalleri News

Cammalleri (upper-body) will be a game-time decision Friday.

Cammalleri was cut by a high-stick on Wednesday and is not on the ice at this morning's gameday skate. Ben Hanowski is holding his spot on the Flames' top-line which suggests he may be in the lineup tonight vs. Winnipeg. Cammalleri has 13 goals and 11 assists (24 points) in his last 20 games.

Cammalleri has a concussion and did not travel with the Flames on their two-game road trip.

Cammalleri will not play tonight or tomorrow and is questionable for the other two games this week (Thursday and Saturday). There is no word when Cammalleri suffered the concussion, but the Flames have recalled Ben Street to replace Cammalleri.

Cammalleri is dealing with a significant injury to his hand. Has missed games and much of pre season. He is skating but is having a lot of difficulty holding the stick.

Cammalleri is in danger of missing significant time. On a rebuilding Flames team, he is one of very few viable fantasy options on this team. He should be bumped down a few spots in rankings. The 31-year-old could be valuable as a late pick if you are able to stash him until he is healthy.

Flames also have put Michael Cammalleri on injured reserve for his hip flexor injury. Retro to Feb. 5, so he could play Wednesday.

Cammalleri was placed on IR to make room for the Flames to claim G Joey MacDonald from the Red Wings. Cammalleri practiced this morning and will likely suit up on Wednesday when he is eligible to come off of IR.
