Grabner is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury, so he will not play tonight. There is no word on when he suffered the injury, but he has played just five games since returning from offseason sports hernia surgery. Casey Cizikas will replace Grabner vs. the Devils.

This is the first time we have seen it reported that Grabner has skated since having surgery to remove a hernia in early October. He was originally expected to miss 4-6 weeks and this marks the four week point.

Michael Grabner has a shoulder injury. There is no timetable but he will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.
It appears as if Grabner will miss an extended period of time, he has 10 goals and three assists in 26 games this season.

Grabner underperformed in fantasy last season but still contributed 20 goals. If he can find ways to be more consistent, he could crack lineups in standard leagues.
