Mike Reilly News

Reilly had three goals and eight assists (11 points) in 57 games for Montreal last year. Reilly shuffled in and out of the Montreal lineup all season but ranked third among defensemen in PP TOI/gm (1:25) when he did play. He will likely fill the exact same role in 2020.

Reilly was a minus-1 in 18:03 TOI in last Friday’s blowout loss in Anaheim and will be replaced by Brett Kulak tonight vs. the Red Wings.

Reilly has been in the lineup for 13 consecutive games but has not registered a point, so he will be replaced by Karl Alzner on Thursday.

Reilly was a healthy scratch in Minnesota on Tuesday but is expected to replace David Schlemko on Thursday. Reilly has six points (2G / 4A) in 25 games this season.

Reilly has played pretty well for the Canadiens this season, but will be replaced by Xavier Ouellet tonight.

Reilly was a prospect with a lot of offensive potential when he reached the NHL, but it has not materialized. The 24-year-old has just 18 points (4G / 14A) in 84 career NHL games, but should get his best shot at playing time with a Montreal team that is out of the playoff picture.

After playing in the last two games, Reilly will serve as a healthy scratch tonight with Gustav Olofsson re-entering the lineup. Reilly was a minus-2 in 13:14 TOI in Dallas on Saturday and that is likely a big reason for sending him back to the press box tonight.

Reilly picked up three assists in four games with the Wild before heading to Iowa, where he had a goal in his only game. The 24-year-old has a lot off offensive ability, but needs regular playing time to be a real fantasy asset.

Reilly, 23, was a fourth round pick in 2011 who put up huge offensive numbers at the University of Minnesota, but has had a tough time producing in the NHL. The Chicago native has just one goal in 17 games with Minnesota this season and heads back to Iowa where he has 15 points (4G / 11A) in 29 games.

Reilly, 23, has no points in nine games with Minnesota this season and has spent the majority of the year in Iowa. With Jonas Brodin out, Reilly will replace Nate Prosser tonight and be paired with Christian Folin. Reilly had 15 points (4G / 11A) in 29 AHL games.

Reilly, 23, has picked up seven points (1G / 6A) in seven games with Iowa, but has failed to record a point in two games with the Wild. With Marco Scandella moved to LTIR, Reilly could see some extra NHL playing time for the next few weeks.

Reilly, 23, has not recorded a point in one game at both the NHL and AHL level. Tonight he is expected to draw back into the Wild lineup for Mathew Dumba. Reilly has a lot of offensive ability, but that has yet to translate into his NHL game.

Reilly played 14:09 and was a minus-1 in the Wild’s season opening loss in St. Louis and tonight he will come out of the lineup in favour of Christian Folin. It may be more of a reaction to their opponent than a knock on Reilly. The Jets are a heavy, physical team and it should be a game more suitable for Folin’s game.

Reilly has been minus-3 in his last three games and has just two assists in his last 16 games. He will be replaced by Nate Prosser tonight.
