TORONTO -- After a thorough review of the play, including a formal disciplinary hearing Monday, Brendan Shanahan, NHL Senior Vice President of Player Safety and Hockey Operations, has decided against any further discipline to Boston forward Milan Lucic for his hit on Buffalo goalie Ryan Miller in Saturday's game at TD Garden.
Lucic will not be suspended, make sure to keep him in your lineup.

Lucic extends his goal scoring streak to 4 straight games
It's looking like the Bruins are turning around their scoring woes. With Lucic fully healthy, expect 30 goals and over 100 PIM.
“The x-ray’s really messy, actually,” Lucic said. “I know the doctors, when they looked at it, were laughing about it. It actually started about two, three weeks ago, where I started to get full mobility back into my toe. There’s no more pain when I get up on my toes and get going and all that type of stuff. That’s obviously, a positive, and hopefully it stays that way.”
Lucic played 13 games with his broken toe, seemingly unaffected by the injury. While we are glad it has been fully healed, we expected the rugged Vancouver native to gut through the pain regardless.
Lucic said he’s breathing normally after undergoing surgery on his nose. Lucic said he played most of last year while having trouble breathing out of his right nostril. The left wing acknowledged his right big toe, fractured by an errant Tyler Seguin shot in the Eastern Conference final, is still hurting. Lucic did not have surgery on his toe.
The Boston Bruins winger is rumoured to be skating with a foot injury and that could be why the East Vancouver native hasn't been as prominent against the Canucks.
