The Rangers have recalled Morgan Barron from Hartford (AHL).
Barron has had a nice start to the 2021-22 season, scoring two goals in his first two AHL games. The 22-year-old has one goal in five career NHL games and will take Kaapo Kakko's (upper-body) spot on the roster.
The Rangers have signed Morgan Barron to a three-year, entry-level contract.
