Kadri (foot) missed Monday’s practice but should play on Tuesday.

Kadri took a shot off of his foot on Saturday and is sore, but head coach Jared Bednar expects him to play vs. the Bruins on Tuesday. Kadri is still searching for his first point with the Avalanche, but has four shots and has averaged 15:55 TOI/gm through two games.

The NHL suspended Nazem Kadri for the rest of the first round for cross-checking Jake DeBrusk in Game 2.

This is a bizarre punishment that we have never seen before but Kadri has effectively been suspended for three-to-five games. William Nylander moved to centre in Game 3 with Kadri suspended and they will likely stick with the same lineup in Game 4 after winning 3-2 last night.

Kadri (undisclosed) will not play on Thursday.

Kadri was not at the Maple Leafs morning skate and head coach Mike Babcock said the centre would not be available vs. the Lightning. Babcock added that there may be a press release regarding Kadri’s injury, which suggests he could miss some time. This would obviously be a huge loss heading into the playoffs if that is the case but we update any further information as it is provided.

Kadri (upper-body) will be back in the Maple Leafs lineup on Tuesday.

Kadri has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury that he suffered last Thursday in Arizona. Kadri was back centring a line with Patrick Marleau and Leo Komarov on his wings. Kadri isn’t having the same offensive season he had a year ago, but has 13 goals and 10 assists in 38 games—putting him on-pace for 27 goals and 21 assists (48 points) in 80 games.

The Maple Leafs have signed Nazem Kadri to a six-year deal worth $27 million ($4.5M AAV).

Statistically Kadri didn’t have the greatest season but the Maple Leafs were impressed with his development and have inked him to a very reasonable six-year extension. Kadri will look to build off of his 2015-16 season where he had 17 goals and 28 assists (45 points) in 76 games. This raise should also help him pay for all those fines that seem to be adding up.

Kadri has been suspended for four games for his cross-check on Luke Glendening.

Kadri was assessed a two-minute minor on the play, but has been suspended for the final four games of the regular season. Kadri finishes the season with 45 points (17G / 28A) in 76 games. Tyler Bozak will take over as the team’s top line centre.

Kadri will return from his four-game suspension on Saturday.

Kadri has served his four game suspension and he is expected to be in the lineup tonight vs. the Senators. Kadri has two goals and twos assists in his last 10 games. Kadri is expected to centre the second line with Joffrey Lupul and David Booth on his wings.

Nazem Kadri
The NHL has suspended Nazem Kadri for four games.

Kadri was suspended for four games for an elbow to the head of Oilers forward Matt Fraser on Monday. The suspension will keep him out of the lineup until next Saturday vs. the Senators. With Peter Holland still out with a lower-body injury, the Leafs will likely recall a centre.
